Low-impact materials

Isabel Marant is committed to increase the amount of sustainable materials
employed for its collections, whether organic, recycled, certified, or low-impact.

Isabel Marant is GOTS certified – n°257833/EGL, an organic textile certification that guarantees
respect for the environment and responsible social practices throughout the value chain of certified pieces.

In addition, Isabel Marant is certified RWS/RMS (TE 00014700), guaranteeing that its wool and mohair are eco-friendly by assuring that its farmers properly manage their land and ensure the welfare of their animals.

The company’s goal is to achieve a 65% rate of sustainable materials in its collections by 2024.

Responsible manufacturing

To ensure that its partners comply with the ethical requirements
of its Supplier Code of Conduct, Isabel Marant holds social audits in its manufacturing facilities.
These are based on the standards of the Initiative for Compliance
and Sustainability (ICS), of which Isabel Marant is a member.

Reduced carbon emissions

Every year, by calculating its carbon footprint,
the objective is to reduce its emissions in all production stages:
rethinking packaging, choosing renewable energy sources
or less polluting means of transport are among the goals for the current year.
